    Our first keelboat  Maestra (Spanish for teacher) has taken us on numerous trips to Beaver Island, Lake Charlevoix and around Grand Traverse Bay.   Maestra is a "big  little boat" that accommodates two people well,  (even though "they" say you can sleep five).  With better than average headroom and storage she can take you on weekend getaways on the big waters.  Although she is cosmetically rough Maestra still sails well.  

    A dual axle  trailer,7000 pound capacity,  custom built with all new components is included.  The 24-foot tongue extension makes it a possible to launch  Maestra from a deep public ramp, thereby reducing the annual expenses for haul out.  And parking it alongside your home or business eliminates expensive yard storage fees.
